  • Dragon Academy Adventure Trail

    Dear Parents and Carers,
    Join your local fellow dragon enthusiasts for a free, family friendly activity - the thrilling Dragon Academy Adventure Trail.
    Embark on a mythical quest, exploring our local area and searching for the trail activities displayed in business windows along the way. Complete the activity at each location and scan the QR code. When you have mastered all of the ancient skills and completed the trail, you will become members of the prestigious Dragon Academy. It's a wonderful way to get outside, be active, and make the most of the school holidays!
    You’ll find plenty of opportunities to capture pictures 📸 and videos of your family practising their mythical skills! It's a thrilling and free activity that promises to infuse your school holiday with excitement, laughter and a sprinkle of dragon-inspired magic! You might even encounter a unicorn, so keep your eyes peeled! 🦄 Tag any social shares with #merthyrdragons 🐉
    About the Dragon Academy Adventure Trail
    The trail will be live on the LoyalFree app from date to date.
    Complete the trail during this time and you will be entered into a prize draw to win! a £50.00 Merthyr Gift Card.
    How to Participate
    If you haven't already, download the LoyalFree app on your mobile device.
    Visit the trails section and scroll to find the Dragon Academy Adventure Trail and click start trail.
    Navigate to local businesses displaying themed posters. Once you have completed the activity, scan the QR code to unlock your ancient skill. Complete the activity and scan the QR code at each location to be entered into the prize draw.
    Infuse a little mythical magic into your school holiday - we look forward to hearing about your dragon adventures after school holiday 🐉

  • Easter

    Parent Information- Children from Nursery to Year 2 can make an Easter hat to participate in our Easter Hat Parade.

    Parents are invited to our Parade on Friday 22nd March 2pm-3pm. Our PTA will be selling 'Wonka' bars at our event.

     

    Children from Year 3 to Year 6 can make their own Easter Egg which will be judged in class.

    Children will be able to buy a 'Wonka' bar from our PTA at the end of the school day.
