• King's Coronation Party

  Parent Information - King's Coronation Party Friday 5th May. pupils are invited to wear red, white or blue or wear their finest royal outfit - kings, queens, princes and princesses! Pupils can also bring in a party plate of food for the celebrations!

  As you know, Gellifaelog Primary School is working towards becoming a ‘nurturing school’ as we believe it is important to ensure our pupils are in a nurturing environment that supports them to learn. Nurture helps us to develop our social and emotional skills to support our development as well as to develop our resilience. 

  There are ‘Six Principles of Nurture’ which we want to embed throughout our school and school community.  Over the next six weeks, we will be introducing a ‘Nurture Principle of the Week’ along with some activities

• FOOD AND FUN SUMMER SCHEME 2023

  Dear Parent / Carer,

  We have the opportunity to host a Food and Fun programme for 12 days at the start of the summer holidays this year. The dates for the programme will be Monday, 24^th July – Tuesday, 8^th August 2023.

  The aim of the programme is that the pupils to be provided with a number of fun activities across the 12 days involving the delivery of nutrition sessions and sporting activities (at least 1 hour per day). Pupils will be encouraged to wear appropriate clothing that will enable them to take part in physical activities comfortably. Pupils will be provided with a free healthy breakfast and lunch each and each ­­­Friday you will be invited to join us for breakfast with the children.

  Eager to speak #Cymraeg with your little ones? Why not join our new set of taster sessions starting on 2nd May? In seven weekly sessions, you'll learn everyday words and phrases to use at home as well as songs to sing with your children. And the best bit? They're fun and FREE!

  Sessions start from the 2nd of May, and will be online on Microsoft Teams, so you can enjoy from the comfort of you sofa and it won't cost you a penny!
