Welcome to Nursery

All about our Nursery!

Thank you for considering Gellifaelog Primary School for your child. Our Nursery provides the strong foundations for future learning in a warm, caring and stimulating environment. Recently renovated, it offers a wide range of high-quality play equipment, real-life objects that help create a familiar sense of home, and exciting opportunities that keep children curious and eager to explore.

Through purposeful play, children develop the early skills that matter most: working alongside others, sharing and taking turns, listening carefully, communicating their ideas and becoming increasingly independent. They also begin to build confidence with early number, language, sounds and literacy in ways that are meaningful and enjoyable.

Our well-qualified and experienced team knows each child well and provides nurturing, engaging opportunities which support their learning, wellbeing and confidence. We want every child to feel safe, valued and excited to come to school, while beginning to develop the qualities represented by our school purpose characters: being healthy, ambitious, creative and ethical.

If you would like to find out more about our Nursery, or arrange a visit, please do get in touch. We would be delighted to welcome you and your child.
